Frank Lampard left the trio of Carney Chukwuemeka, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke out of his starting lineup against Manchester City last weekend at Etihad Stadium.

The England International started a lot of Players like Cesar Azpilicueta, Conor Gallagher, Kai Havertz, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah, who has been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge at the end of this season against the Citizens on Sunday.

When asked about why he used that starting lineup, especially when he left out Carney Chukwuemeka out of the starting lineup after he prevented him from joining the young squad of the Three Lions of England that’s currently featuring in the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup, Frank Lampard claimed that he has to think about his job First before handing playing time to young Players.

He Said: “You’ve got to wait your time and have to understand. I want to get him minutes but I have to think about my job. I thought he did well when he came on.”

This season is over for Chelsea but Frank Lampard is still trying to make himself look good by searching for wins, thereby affecting the chances of the Young Players.

The only way for Frank Lampard to start helping Chelsea ahead of next season is by starting Players that are going to be here at the end of this season. He has no reason to continue to field a strong starting lineup.

Enzo Fernandez has started in every game that Chelsea played since his arrival in January. It might be the right time for Frank Lampard to rest the Argentina National. I mean, the injury of Benoit Badiashile is a wake up call. It’s not until everyone carries an Injury that Frank Lampard will start taking precautions
