Why Ex-chelsea Player, Craig Burley Was Wrong To Say Tuchel Is Not A Tactical Genius After 2-0 Win

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has continued his fine record of a 100% wins in Cup semifinals after masterminding a brilliant 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at the Wembley Stadium.
Chelsea came into the game with the intention to get a positive result that would make up for the disappointment of being eliminated from the Uefa Champions League last Tuesday.
And after a slow first half, Tuchel’s men broke the deadlock after Ruben Loftus Cheek opened the scoring with a smashing shot. The Englishman was introduced into the game due to Matteo Kovacic’s injury in the first half.
Mount added a second shortly after to seal the win for Chelsea and book a place in the May 14 final against Liverpool in the same stadium.
Reacting to the match, ESPN pundit, Craig Burley dismissed the suggestion that Thomas Tuchel is a tactical genius after getting Chelsea to his sixth final in just over a year at the club.
According to the former Chelsea midfielder, if Tuchel was a tactical genius, his team would still be fighting for the English Premier League and will still be in the Champions League.
Why he was wrong
Only someone who has an agenda against Chelsea will say Tuchel is not a tactical genius. No average manager would have succeeded in achieving what the German has achieved in his short time at Chelsea so far.
It seems like Mr Burley has something against Chelsea. Don’t forget he was the pundit who criticised Chelsea players for celebrating winning the FIFA Club World Cup title some months ago.

It is always hard to believe that the ESPN pundit used to be a former Chelsea player. The way he always talks down on the team is very weird.
