What Chelsea must do with Lukaku to give Broja the Career he deserves at the club from next season.

Romelu Lukaku completed his big-money return to his boyhood club – Chelsea last summer following his impressive two seasons with the Serie A club, helping them to win the league title in his last season in the Serie A before making a return to Stamford Bridge.
Upon his return to the Bridge, Lukaku became the most expensive Chelsea player of all time as the London club paid £97m to Inter Milan to secure his signature. Lukaku however, began his second Chelsea career impressively, scoring a goal in his debut game against Arsenal, he then scored 2 goals in his second home debut against Aston Villa, before adding another one by scoring the only goal in their first Champions League game of the season to help the Blues beat Zenit.
Since then, Lukaku has struggled to continue his impressive form at Chelsea and he has been able to score further 5 goals to make it 9 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions. And his poor form has seen him dropped to the bench in favor of Kai Havertz who is currently in a good run of scoring form for the Blues.
Nevertheless, Chelsea has a top young talented striker in Armando Broja who is currently out on loan with Southampton. The Albanian young striker is currently having a good season at Southampton, and many expect him to return to the Bridge to join Tuchel’s team for next season once his loan spell is over in the summer.
But with Lukaku’s presence in the squad next season, Broja might reject to return to Chelsea next season to avoid spending time on the bench throughout the season after testing the Premier League while on loan at Southampton.
Broja impressed Tuchel in pre-season before moving out on loan and Tuchel is a big fan of the talented born-goalscorer.
And with a host of clubs reportedly monitoring the young striker’s situation at Chelsea, Broja might choose to move permanently to a new to continue his rapid development just like many other Chelsea Academy graduates have done in recent times, and it would be another big mistake from Chelsea if they allow a young promising striker like Broja to leave while they are still searching for a striker.
And with Romelu Lukaku now struggling to fit into the current Chelsea’s style of play, I suggest that he should be sold in the summer to create space for the returning young and talented Armando Broja who has proven that he deserves a chance in the senior Chelsea team after showing his worth at Southampton this season.
