According to sources from Football Insider, Chelsea is eager to sell defender Trevoh Chalobah for a fee of £45 million as they have reached an agreement to acquire Monaco’s Axel Disasi. The deal for Disasi is set at £38 million, and he is expected to sign a five-year contract with Chelsea, with a medical already scheduled.

Although Chalobah is not keen on leaving Stamford Bridge, the impending arrival of the French international has increased the likelihood of his departure. Inter Milan remains highly interested in signing the Englishman this summer, having pursued him for a year, and Chalobah has even visited Milan during the pursuit.

During the pre-season tour of the United States, the centre-back, Trevoh Chalobah, had the honor of captaining his childhood club, Chelsea. He expressed his desire for more opportunities to lead the team as captain in the future.

Unfortunately, despite Chalobah’s aspirations, the Chelsea board views him as a sellable asset in this summer transfer window. They intend to actively push him to join another club in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.

Levi Colwill, the promising England Under-21 player, has returned from his loan spell at Brighton and has been assured of significant playing time this season, which has put him ahead of Trevoh Chalobah in the team’s pecking order.

Inter Milan is interested in signing Chalobah but faces competition from various clubs in England and across Europe. They have already initiated contact with Chelsea and the player’s representatives in pursuit of the transfer.

Mauricio Pochettino, the new Chelsea boss, has witnessed several key players depart from Stamford Bridge during this summer, with the likes of N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic moving on to new ventures.
