Three Positions Chelsea Need To Bolster In January

Chelsea will begin their quest to save their season after the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup. The Blues lost one of their backup players during their friendly game against Aston Villa and also their defender Wesley Fofana to injury.
The January transfer window is set to be open, and Chelsea is one of the teams that need to add to their squad as they are short of players.
Here are the three positions Chelsea needs to bolster in the January transfer window.
1 Forward
With the injury to Armando Broja and the lack of goals from most of their forwards, Chelsea needs to sign a new forward in January. The Blues will need a lot of goals and maximum points when the league resume, and the only solution is getting a new forward to aid that.
2 Right Back
One of the reasons Chelsea struggled to keep up with other top teams in the Premier League was their inability to find a good replacement for Reece James. The England international has been struggling with injury, and it has affected the blues negatively.
3 Creative Midfielder
Chelsea’s team lacked creativity which has made their forwards struggle for goals. Mason Mount has not replicated his previous form for the Blues, and Graham Potter needs a new player to cover up for the England midfielder.
