Plavers who could takeover the Chelsea number ten shirt if Christian Pulisic departs in the summer

Chelsea football club will at the end of this summer change few things in the team, those changes will include incoming new manager, as expected few players will join up with the squad while some of the current squad members who have found game time hard to come by will also push for a move away from the club.

Some of the stars in the team who have struggled to get into the first team includes Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount Denis Zakaria and some youngsters like Carney Chukwuemeka, while the later could look to get a loan experience, the formers could look for a permanent move away especially with Christopher Nkunku set to join soon.

If as we are predicting Christian Pulisic decides to move away at the end of the season, his number ten squad number will be up for grabs and below we look at few players who could look to takeover the iconic number.

Christopher Nkunku. The French attacker will join Chelsea at the end of the season according to renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the number ten squad number could be spot on for him.

Mykhailo Mudryk. Although the Ukrainian have not hit the required height just yet but Chelsea paid big money and have high expectations for him, he could takeover the jersey number ten which will be a boost for his confidence and could push him to a new height.

Mason Mount. The Chelsea academy graduate is nearing the end of his contract at Chelsea, the club could include the number squad number in the negotiation and it could help convince him to stay.

Raheem Sterling. The winger is already a leader in this Chelsea young squad and handing him the number ten shirt could be a great idea.
