Graham Potter makes four changes from our midweek Carabao Cup defeat in Manchester, with Mason Mount among those returning to the side.

Conor Gallagher is also back for the Blues for our trip to Tyneside and is expected to join his fellow England World Cup squad midfielder in supporting Armando Broja in attack. Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech drop to the bench.

Denis Zakaria and Thiago Silva miss out, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Jorginho recalled. Eighteen-year-old Lewis Hall continues at left wing-back, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek expected on the other side, Azpilicueta in the back three and Edouard Mendy retained in goal.

In midfield, Jorginho partners Mateo Kovacic, while Raheem Sterling misses out on the matchday squad.
