As things stand, Jorginho is expected to leave Chelsea next summer. His agent claimed that the priority is to extend his stay, but the parties are no closer to reaching an agreement.
N’Golo Kante is another midfielder whose contract expires in 2023. However, his future remains in the balance.
The Frenchman has been linked with Barcelona, but the Catalans are concerned about his injury record. That is also one of the reasons why Chelsea are reluctant to offer him a big-money deal.
