Joao Felix reveals why Thiago Silva is the Chelsea player that surprised him the most

It’s always a good thing when a player speaks highly of his teammates as this creates a bond and chemistry for success in the long run which is what Joao Felix did in his recent interview as he revealed why Thiago Silva is the Chelsea player that surprised him the most.

Felix joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in January on loan for the rest of the season and has since then been impressive for the London Club. He has scored just two goals so far and has shown signs that he will be a menace to Premier League defenders. 

The Portugal forward is a very versatile player who can play across several positions in Chelsea’s attack. He can play as a false nine, on the right or left-wing or even as a supporting striker. These are some of the reasons why Chelsea went for him. His arrival has also affected players like Mount in the starting XI.

However, Felix on why Thiago Silva is the Chelsea player that surprised him the most was quoted as saying “The player that surprised me the most was Thiago Silva. I always knew he’s a top player, but seeing [him] in real life and training with him, you can see that he’s very, very, very good. So much class…”

Thiago Silva has truly been class since he joined Chelsea as a free agent a few years back. He was instrumental in their success in winning the Champions League, Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup. Nevertheless, he is out of the Aston Villa game at the weekend.
