Chelsea Caretaker Manager Frank Lampard had earlier confirmed the absence of Benoit Badiashile during his pre-match press conference last Friday before Chelsea’s Premier league game against Manchester City.

Frank Lampard claimed that Benoit Badiashile injured himself in training and won’t be available to play against the Premier league Champions on Sunday.

On Monday morning, Standard Sport Journalist Nizaar Kinsella gave more revelation about Benoit Badiashile’s injury.

He confirmed that Benoit Badiashile’s injury is more severe than it was initially perceived to be and the the Frenchman is set to undergo a surgery that will see him missing the games against Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Nizaar Kinsella further confirmed that Benoit Badiashile will miss the pre-season and probably the beginning of next season because he’s going to be absent for 4 Months.

Chelsea won’t really feel the absence of Benoit Badiashile since there’s nothing else to play for this season but, since he’s going be absent at the beginning of next season, it might be a great time for Levi Colwill to walk straight into the starting lineup.

Levi Colwill has spent this season on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion, and it has been a wonderful time for him as Brighton and Hove Albion Fans were begging him in his last home game for the Club not to leave.

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly a Fan of Levi Colwill and would like to include him in his plans next season. With Benoit Badiashile out injured, Levi Colwill just moved up a rank in the pecking order at Chelsea
