Fans are left stunned after Joao Felix produced an insane bit of skill for Chelsea

After a shaky start to life at Stamford Bridge, Joao Felix is finally showing Chelsea fans what he can really do.
During the West London club’s home game against Everton on Saturday (18 March), the Portuguese forward produced some mesmeric pieces of skill, before going on to net his side’s opening goal.
Aside from his well-taken goal, there was one moment in particular that stood out to Chelseafans – and a clip of it was soon going viral on Twitter.
In the clip, which has over 3000 likes at the time of writing, Felix can be seen selling the opposition defender a dummy as the ball is played to feet, with him letting the ball run through the Everton player’s legs before spinning away to spring a Chelsea attack.
The 23-year-old then produces an inviting cross into the Everton box, which is just about dealt with by the panicked defenders.
Captioned ‘Wow Joao Felix is INCREDIBLE’, it certainly got people talking online, with many users rushing to comment on how impressive the Chelsea new-boy was throughout the game.
One user replied with ‘The boy is a baller’, with another adding, ‘this deserved a goal’.
A third commented ‘that was dirtyyyy’, although it’s fair to say not everyone who contributed was convinced by the move alone.
On the contrary, plenty of people rushed to comment on Felix’s goal record, with has been somewhat disappointing since his January move from Atletico Madrid.
One unimpressed user asked ‘how about some goals’, with a second saying ‘would be good if he could actually threaten the goal’ – which received 75 likes.
However, Felix emphatically answered those who questioned his goal record by getting on the scoresheet in the second half.
His accurate strike, which was his first at Stamford Bridge, handed Chelsea the lead, although it lasted just 16 minutes as Everton drew level thanks to Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The drama did not end there, as following Kai Havertz’s 76th minute penalty, Everton drew level for a second time, this time through Ellis Simms in the final minute of normal time.
The Premier League match would end 2-2, meaning Chelsea remain in 10th place, 11 points off the Champions League places.
While it was ultimately another tough afternoon for the home fans, they will surely take some positives from Felix’s impressive cameo – and the promise of what might be yet to come.
