Chelsea ‘close in on £18m-rated Brazil youngster Andrey Santos’
Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal worth around £18million for Vasco da Gama midfielder Andrey Santos, in the latest bit of winter spending for Todd Boehly’s side.
The 18-year old has been followed by Newcastle United and Manchester City over recent months but is now destined for Stamford Bridge following positive talks.
They have already agreed deals for two new forwards and are set to pay around £8m to Molde for David Fofana while Christopher Nkunku is joining in the summer from Red Bull Leipzig for a fee over £52m.

ICYMI: Chelsea appoint Vivell as new technical director
Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of Christopher Vivell as their new technical director.
Vivell previously worked at RB Leipzig in the club’s recruitment and scouting departments before leaving the role in October to take up a position as an advisor at Stamford Bridge in October.
He has now been named the club’s new technical director, and will begin his role immediately.
