There are two changes to the Chelsea team that starts against Manchester City.

Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech are the returning duo in place of Jorginho and Mason Mount, with the latter missing out on the matchday squad.

The Croatian World Cup semi-finalist starts alongside Denis Zakaria in midfield, with Ziyech joining Christian Pulisic and Raheem Sterling in support of Kai Havertz in attack.

The back five is unchanged from our New Year’s Day draw at Nottingham Forest, with Cesar Azpilicueta, Kalidou Koulibaly, Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella in front of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Youngsters Bashir Humphreys and Omari Hutchinson are on the bench and would be in line for a Chelsea debut if called upon.

Pep Guardiola makes three changes from their last outing, a 1-1 draw at home to Everton, with Phil Foden, Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker back in the starting 11.
