The summer transfer window is fast approaching and Chelsea are, once again, due to be one of the busiest clubs in Europe.

Since Todd Boehly’s £4.25billion takeover of the club last May, over £600m has been spent on new signings. The mass overhaul of the squad hasn’t, so far, worked out, with the Blues set to finish outside the Premier League top 10,

Departures look just as important as incomings this summer, with Mason Mount looking increasingly likely with each passing day he will be one.

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly Chelsea’s number one transfer target after playing a starring role in their Serie A title triumph. Elsewhere, Moises Caicedo continues to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

With that said, chelsea will be providing all the latest news and transfer updates throughout the day.

Vlahovic ‘not for sale’

Chelsea have received a damaging blow to their pursuit of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. The Blues are keen to improve the attacking options ahead of next season after scoring 36 goals in 36 games.

According to reports, Todd Boehly had made the Juventus man their top target and had offered £70 million for the Serbia international. Vlahovic only joined Juve last year, but has been tipped to leave the club after struggling to rediscover his form that earned him a move from Fiorentina.

Juventus chief football officer, Francesco Calvo, has insisted the club have no plans to sell Vlahovic in the summer. “Rumours are not something we can control, but the transfer market hasn’t even opened yet,” he told DAZN.

“Dusan is not for sale. We are satisfied with the effort he puts in, although everyone in life can do better

Mount to Manchester United

Manchester United are preparing to lodge a £55million bid for Mason Mount, according to the Daily Mail. The midfielder is set for a move away fromt he club this summer, with his contract entering the final 12-months at the end of the season.

Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with a switch as the Cobham academy graduate appears to be highly coveted.

Chelsea ‘pushing’ for Osimhen

Chelsea want to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, acorrding to Florian Plettenberg.

The journalist wrote on Twitter: “Chelsea is still pushing! They want him as their new striker! He’s top of the list. Understand there are price expectations about €110m + Boni at this stage.

“But Chelsea has to sell players first and De Laurentiis wants more and at least €150m. Problematic for Chelsea: No Champions League next season.”
