Chelsea fans told new signing ‘is a beast’ – £33M star has agreed Blues move – £97M man confirms he wants move

Romelu Lukaku has informed Chelsea that he has no intention of returning to the club at the end of the season.

Lukaku was signed by just over 12 months ago as Thomas Tuchel was desperate to add a world class striker to the attack – and many had hoped that the Belgian would be a massive success

But despite scoring a few goals – putting in a few solid performances – he looked nothing like the striker that banged in goals for fun at Inter Milan – and last summer – the Blues allowed him to leave on loan back to the Italian giants

And since his move back to Inter – he has now made it clear that he would like to stay in Italian football and was hoping that a deal could be struck between Chelsea and Milan.

“I spoke to Chelsea about my relationship with the coach and I decided to come back to Inter,’ Lukaku told Sky Sports Italia.

‘Things went very fast and I’m happy. I hope to stay at Inter, Inter for me is everything. But we need to find a way with Chelsea.’

Reporter Stanley believes that letting Lukaku leave the club on a permanent basis would be the right idea – as he cant handle the Premier League – he told IcFootballnews: ‘Lukaku had everything to be the deadliest striker in the Premier League – but he cant handle the pace.

‘He looked nothing like the man that fired goals on a weekly basis for Milan and it was the right decision to let him leave – even though a replacement was not really found.

‘Potter would have no idea how to use Lukaku if he was brought back to the club – he would get frustrated at the way the Belgian plays – it would not be a good idea to offer him another chance at Stamford Bridge.

‘If the reports are true and Chelsea will decide to bring him back – it will cause more trouble than it is worth and honestly – it could be a massive mistake – he needs to stay put or get sold.’

Santos message –

Former Olympique Lyon midfielder Juninho Pernambucano has been speaking about Chelsea ‘s imminent new signing Andrey Santos.

He has made a big impression in his first full season with the senior team, making 36 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and winning four Brazil Under-20 caps.

He has thrived as a ball-winning central midfielder who can break up attacks – and he is a player that Chelsea have been keeping an eye on over the past few months as all the speculation continues to increase.

Now it has been claimed The Blues have agreed to pay Vasco de Gama £11m for the 18-year-old and he is set to go straight into Graham Potter’s first team.

And it would be fair to say Juninho is a big fan – Speaking last year, he said: “I’ve never seen a player, at 18, as ready as he is.

“Physically, he’s a beast, technically he’s on a high level. He’s not going to be better than me, he’s going to be much better than me”.

IcFootballnews View….

Santos is a real talent and it is very easy to see just why Chelsea are keen to beat off the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona for his signature – but could it be the wrong move for the lad? it may well be.

There may be new owners at Stamford Bridge – but Chelsea have a habit of buying some of the best young talents in the game and then loaning them out to get lost in the system.

This is a massive step for the lad to make and many will be hoping that he has made the right career choice – Chelseaare a massive club that have world class players in the squad – it could take many seasons for him to actually break into the Blues side.

But he will still be a welcome addition to the side and fans will welcome him with open arms that is for sure

Badiashile has agreed move

Chelsea are reportedly handing Monaco centre-back Benoit Badiashile a six-and-a-half-year contract.

The season is back up and running after a break for the World Cup in Qatar – but we are only a few days away from the opening of the January transfer window – and the possibility of a few players arriving at Stamford Bridge

Graham Potter is a man that knows he needs to add some more quality to that Chelsea squad – and the January window will give him a chance to sign some players that will make a real difference to the side.

David Ornstein reported that Chelsea had reached a total agreement for Badiashile and that the Blues are set to pay £33.7m.

This afternoon, more details of the deal have been revealed by L’Equipe, with the Frenchman set to be given a long term contract lasting until 2029.

Badiashile is absent from Monaco’s squad for their match this afternoon, all but confirming the move.
