Chelsea are preparing a £14M bid for Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo
Chelsea have been inactive in terms of transfers in this window,before the 2022/23 season kick off in the next four weeks. The blues are yet to announce first summer signing,with the only deal agreed is for Raheem sterling from Manchester City,whose arrival at Stamford Bridge is imminent.
After the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan,Tuchel is seeking for a new center forward. According to Fabrizio Romano,Todd Boehly held a meeting with George Mendes,for the possibility of signing Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.
Multiple reports suggests Chelsea are preparing to submit an initial bid of £14m for the five times Ballon D’or winner,whom have declined to resume for the pre-season training at Carrington.
Ronaldo handed in transfer request as he is pushing for a move away from Old Trafford,after United failed to qualify for the upcoming season champions league. Cristiano will be a massive signing for Tuchel whose strikers have struggled to score more than 15 goals in a season.
