Chelsea announcement could be next week – board offer star four-year £300.000-a-week deal

It has been claimed that Chelsea could secure the services of Ousmane Dembele by as early as next week
Dembele has been in the media headlines alot over the past few months after the world found out that he is ready to leave Barcelona in the transfer window
Despite the fact that Xavi is keen to keep hold of the Frenchman – the club have not been able to agree a new contract with the winger and clubs have been circling for a while now looking for a possible deal
Both Chelsea and PSG are the two leading clubs for the potential services of Dembele – as they can both offer Champions League football and the £350,000-a-week wages that he reportedly desires
However – it seems that Chelsea will have a clear run at signing Dembele as it has not been claimed in the Sun that PSG have decided that they will not be making a move for the Frenchman
The report says Barcelona’s hopes of starting a bidding war for the winger are dead as new PSG sporting director Luis Campos is said to have vetoed a move for the French international.
And the reports goes on to suggest that Chelsea could announce the signing of Dembele as early as next week – after offering the Frenchman a four-year contract worth close to £300,000-a-week
There has been so much speculation surrounding the player and a possible move to Chelsea – many people have started to get confused as to what is actually going on
If he does leave Barcelona over the next few months – it may be a massive mistake to come to the Premier League – he is not built for the English game
Tuchel may feel he can get the best out of Dembele – but unless that is in the Bundesliga or the French League – it will not happen
