Now that the transfer window is officially open, rumours and transfer links continue to circle. A number of transfers have already been completed with some of Europe’s top talents available in the transfer market.
For Chelsea, there are a number of high-profile players linked with a switch to the Stamford Bridge as Thomas Tuchel looks to freshen up his squad. The German is expected to be backed by new owner Todd Boehly following the completion of a £4.25billion takeover of the club.
The Blues secured Champions League football with a top four finish last season and narrowly missed out on both domestic cups, despite winning the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. With that said, here’s a look at the latest rumours linking players to the club.
Ousmane Dembele
The Blues had reportedly registered their interest in the French winger in the January transfer window when it became clear that Thomas Tuchel would like a reunion with the young star.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona president Joan Laporta is still waiting on Ousmane Dembele’s response to an offer.
Richarlison
According to 90min, Chelsea have been in contact with Everton regarding a transfer move for Brazilian forward Richarlison.
football.london understands that the Everton attacker is a player that Spurs’ managing director of football Fabio Paratici is a fan of but indications within Spurs are that nothing is happening right now with regard to making a move for the Everton attacker.
Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are all rumoured to be interested in making a move for the 25-year-old this summer with Everton in need of a financial boost.
Milan Skriniar
Inter defender Milan Skriniar has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer after the Blues have already confirmed the departure of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain have contacted Inter again for Milan Skriniar, he’s top of French club list – but there’s no agreement on the fee, as of now
