CHE VS WOLVES: Three Tactical Ways Thomas Tuchel Could Lineup Against Wolves

Chelsea succumbed against a relegation-threatened Everton side, despite their fantastic run. To be able to settle for third place, the Blues must win all of their remaining Premier League fixtures. Thomas Tuchel’s team must recover from their defeat last weekend and finish the season well. On Saturday, Wolverhampton Wanderers will visit Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Wolverhampton has lost four of their previous five Premier League games, while Chelsea has won two, drawn one, and lost two. Chelsea has won twice, drawn twice, and lost once in their last five games with Wolves.
The last two meetings between the two teams, however, ended in a goalless draw. Wolves are comfortably placed in the table, and they stand to gain little if they defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Wolverhampton Wanderers will most likely sit deep in their own half, waiting for the ideal time to counter-attack Chelsea. For some reason, Lukaku has not started for Thomas Tuchel, and the German coach may offer him the opportunity to lead the attacking line alongside Havertz and Mount. The Belgian professional has to reclaim his form and put together a good finish to the season.
In the defensive line, Chalobah might team up with Rudiger and Christensen. The center defense of these three players will make it difficult for Wolverhampton strikers to frequently infiltrate Chelsea’s penalty area. Tuchel’s 3-4-3 system will aid his team in controlling the midfield, as the full-backs will penetrate deep into the area. In the comments section below, predict the final score.
