CHE VS CRY: The Starting Lineup That Could Give Chelsea The Win In The 2022 FA Cup Semi-Finals

Chelsea will be disappointed with their last night performance after they let their 3-0 lead shorten down by Real Madrid’s attacking duo Benzema and Rodrygo. However, Thomas Tuchel will now focus on the FA cup Semi-final which will be coming up at Stamford bridge this Sunday.
This s will be the third time Chelsea will meeting Crystal Palace in the 2021/22 season. However, Chelsea won them in the first two meetings this season and hopefully they could win them comfortably and advance to the finals.
In the past five meetings between Chelsea and Crystal Palace, Chelsea has won all the five games. This shows that Thomas Tuchel’s side has a perfect record against Crystal Palace. Chelsea will be looking forward to reaching their second finals this season and hopefully add the FA cup to the FIFA club world cup they won earlier this year. The image below depicts how Chelsea could lineup against Crystal Palace at Stamford bridge.
Starting Lineup (3-4-3 formation).
Goalkeeper: K. Arrizabalaga.
Defenders: A. Christensen, Azpilicueta and A. Rudiger.
Midfielders: R. James, Mason Mount, R. Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi.
Forwards: H. Ziyech, Pulisic and Timo Werner.
Timo Werner who scored against Real Madrid will likely start in the attacking lineup ahead of Lukaku. This will also help to provide rest to Kai Havertz who will be a crucial player in their upcoming tough premier league fixture. Hakim Ziyech’s dribbling ability and crossing accuracy will provide ball for Timo Werner to convert. Chelsea has lost twice in their last two games at Stamford bridge, they will surely want to win this game.
Crystal Palace will likely play defensively at Stamford bridge and this means that Thomas Tuchel’s side will have to be very vigilant in the defense to repel Crystal Palace’s counter-attack. However, Chelsea’s 3-4-3 formation will help them provide extensive coverage in the Midfield and defense, making it difficult for Crystal Palace to penetrate their defensive line
