CHE VS BOU: The Right And Wrong Decisions Made By Graham Potter In his Starting Lineup For Chelsea

In a few minutes’ time, the match involving Chelsea and Bournemouth will kick off in the English Premier League today as both sides lock horns at the Stamford Bridge Stadium. Graham Potter’s starting lineup for Chelsea has officially been released as he brought out his best eleven players to get the job done against Bournemouth.
Well, let’s briefly view the right and wrong decisions made by Graham Potter in his starting lineup for Chelsea today.
Right Decision.
Playing Kepa Arrizabalaga Ahead Of Edouard Mendy.
Edouard Mendy had an awful outing in the just-concluded FIFA World Cup for Senegal. His display in goal was way below par which really affected Senegal’s performance in the competition. Not starting him for Chelsea in today’s match was indeed a brilliant decision made by Graham Potter since the Senegalese International is still struggling to regain his lost form. Kepa Arrizabalaga was good for Chelsea before the international break and I believe he could show his brilliance once again in this fixture.
Wrong Decision.
Benching Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang For Kai Havertz.
Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is obviously a deadlier striker than Kai Havertz who is just adapting to that position. Chelsea obviously needs goals in this game and they won’t get them with a wasteful player like Kai Havertz upfront against Bournemouth. It was obviously a wrong decision made by the former Brighton Manager.
