Match Venue and Kickoff Time

Chelsea will be aiming to end their winless streak when they face Brighton and Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, April 14th at 3:00 pm West African Standard Time.

Match Preview

The Blues have struggled in their recent matches, failing to secure a victory in their last five games across all competitions. Despite the return of Frank Lampard on an interim basis after the sacking of Graham Potter, the team’s situation has yet to improve after two matches in charge.

They are currently positioned at eleventh place in the league standings and face the risk of missing out on a Champions League spot for next season.

Furthermore, they are also in danger of being eliminated from the Champions League after losing 2-0 against Real Madrid in the first leg of the quarterfinals in the current campaign.

On the other hand, Brighton and Hove Albion are in decent form, having reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup and currently occupying the seventh spot in the Premier League standings, ten points away from fourth place.

They will also be seeking to bounce back from their recent 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. The seagulls are expected to enter the game with much confidence due to the poor form of the Blues and their 4-1 win in the reverse fixture.
