Celebration at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea top UEFA earnings and £90,000-a-week star to join Tuchel at Chelsea

Thomas Tuchel’s target for January transfer window could not join him at Stamford Bridge but he has continued to be positive that summer transfer window will be a different ball game.
Louis Saha reckons Chelsea should launch a move to land Everton forward Richarlison in the summer.
The 24-year-old star could be on the transfer market at the end of the term as the Toffees aim to balance the books due to losses of over £100m last year.
Ex-Manchester United star rates the Brazilian very highly and thinks the former Watford youngster would be a great fit at Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Speaking to BoyleSports, Louis said: ‘I don’t see any sides that wouldn’t have him. He’s a special player and no-one plays the way he plays.
‘He’s always a danger and I can see any side from the top, Chelsea or Liverpool, wait not Liverpool! Obviously joking.
‘For sure a team in the Premier League will be looking, but I hope Everton manage to keep that kind of player because he’s the star.’
His form has been patchy this term as the South American has struggled to impress in a Toffees team which is battling for its PL survival.
However, in spite of scoring only six division goals this season, Richarlison’s desire hasn’t waivered which was evident midweek when the player tucked away two penalties in Everton’s 3-2 defeat at Burnley.
Chelsea leads UEFA earnings for Euro 2020
Chelsea club earned 5.1 million euros ($5.55 million) from European championship revenue for loaning out players to its national teams, UEFA said on Friday.
UEFA had a fund of 200 million euros ($2.17.5 million) to pay clubs a daily fee for each of their players involved in the national team tournament and the Euro 2020 qualifying phase, in addition of Nations League matches since 2018.
The payment schedule was announced a day after UEFA approved an increased total of 240 million euros ($261 million) for clubs whose players are called up to national teams for Euro 2024 in Germany.
English clubs collectively won €47 million ($51.1 million), almost a quarter of the total amount allocated for UEFA national team matches between 2018 and 2021. A total of 18 different English clubs won each more than one million euros ($1.1 million), with Chelsea receiving the most.
Chelsea had players involved until the end of Euro 2020. Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri were in the Italy squad that beat England in the final. Mason Mount, Reese James and Ben Chilwell were on the losing side.
Manchester City was the next highest earning club with €4.5 million ($4.9 million). Juventus received more than 3.8 million euros ($4.1 million).
Atalanta, with more than 2.9 million euros ($3.15 million), beat Barcelona. After Ukraine reached the quarterfinals, Dynamo Kyiv received more than €2.5 million ($2.7 million).
UEFA noted that 697 clubs from its 55 member associations received payments.
The Italian clubs collected a combined 27.5 million ($29.9 million), slightly less than their German counterparts. Denmark’s teams earned less than €2.7 million ($2.9 million) despite the national team reaching the semi-finals of Euro 2020.
UEFA indicated that it will allocate 140 million euros ($152 million) to be shared by the clubs that release players for Euro 2024. The other 100 million euros ($109 million) will be distributed according to calls for two editions of the League of Nations and the qualifying matches for Euro 2024.
