BREAKING: Talk on Going as Chelsea Launch an Offer To Hijack Raheem Sterling From Arsenal and Tottenham

Chelsea could reportedly launch the offensive to sign Raheem Sterling, a target for Arsenal and Tottenham, if they can sell certain players.
According to a report by Daily Telegraph, Raheem Sterling is the subject of interest from Chelsea over a possible move in the summer transfer window. The Blues could launch the offensive for the Manchester City forward, a target for Arsenal and Tottenham, if they manage to sell one or all of Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Timo Werner.
Raheem Sterling has blossomed into a prolific attacker since joining Manchester City in July 2015 from Liverpool in a controversial transfer. The English international has experienced his fair share of highs and lows in this time, with his stock falling somewhat in the last couple of seasons.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a solid 2021/22 campaign, amassing 17 goals and nine assists in 47 outings across all competitions. But Sterling faces an uncertain future at Manchester City, with his contract set to run out next year. Such a situation has captured the attention of several European bigwigs, including Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues are the latest club to show an interest in Sterling, which is conditional. Chelsea will launch the offensive for the Englishman if they succeed in selling one or all of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic. The trio has blown hot and cold in their respective Chelsea stints, prompting the west Londoners to consider replacing them this summer.
Meanwhile, the interest from Arsenal stems from the rising uncertainties surrounding the future of Nicolas Pepe. The Ivory Coast international has become a peripheral figure under Mikel Arteta this season, and he could depart from the Emirates in the summer. Sterling is thus a viable target for Arsenal.
As for Tottenham, recent reports suggested Spurs are leading the race to sign Sterling, which could still hold true after they pipped Arsenal to the final UEFA Champions League spot. Tottenham will look to replace Steven Bergwijn this summer, with the Dutch forward keen on leaving the north London club to secure regular game-time elsewhere.
According to the report, Chelsea could hold the aces in the race to sign Sterling, leaving Arsenal and Tottenham with an uphill task in his pursuit. But launching the offensive for the Manchester City forward is conditional, with the futures of Ziyech, Werner and Pulisic linked with Sterling’s

why they should sign Raheem Sterling
amid transfer links
The Manchester City winger has just one year remaining on his contract and is yet to decide where his future lies.
Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has been linked with a surprise transfer to Chelsea this summer and Reece James has already poured praise on the winger. Sterling will have just one year remaining on his City contract come the summer and is yet to decide on his next move.
Arsenal have also been strongly linked with the England winger but after missing out on the Champions League to Tottenham, their chances of signing him have no doubt taken a blow. Elsewhere there are reports that Real Madrid could now turn to Sterling after being dramatically rejected by Kylian Mbappe.
Thomas Tuchel is set for a hectic transfer window with defensive reinforcements in particular of the utmost importance. The Telegraph have reported this week that the Blues have drawn up a list of eight candidates they are looking at with Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol priorities.
But it is not just defenders Tuchel is eyeing this summer and towards the end of the report, it is mentioned that Chelsea could make a move for Sterling in a bid to bolster their front-line. It would require one, or possibly all, of Christian Pulisic, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech departing but is something that is being considered.
The Chelsea manager has already been told what the 27-year-old could bring to his side if he were to pull off the impressive transfer. James and Sterling were both part of England’s Euro 2020 squad but around a year before the tournament, the Cobham graduate picked the City ace as the toughest opponent he has faced, saying via SportsMole: “Probably Sterling I would have to say, he’s got mad pace and is so sharp off the ball.”
Given how Chelsea have often struggled to create chances this season – particularly when both James and Ben Chilwell were sidelined – having a player of Sterling’s ability and intelligence could provide crucial opportunities and close the gap on both Manchester City and Liverpool
Chelsea are set to turn their attentions to signing a Manchester City star this summer under the circumstances that current players leave.
The futures of many of The Blues current players are rather up in the air right now ahead of a summer of vast changes expected at the club. It’s not just the new ownership takeover, many players are said to be pondering their futures and awaiting meetings to discuss their next moves.
Of course, these player will need replacing if they do leave, and it could be a number of current attackers that Chelsea might have to replace.
According to The Telegraph today, selling one or all of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic could see Chelsea consider a move for Raheem Sterling, who has one year remaining on his Manchester City contract and is yet to decide on his future.
They claim that Chelsea would be a more attractive option out of other interested clubs
