BREAKING: Chelsea Prepares First offer for Nigeria Star Striker Victor Osimhen

Premier league club Chelsea are readying their first offer to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports.

Italian transfer market media, Calciomercato, claims that the Blues are ready to prepare their initial offer to land the services of the 23 cap Nigerian international.

Per the report, Chelsea are prepared to offer United States captain Christian Pulisic as makeweight to push the deal through to bring the 24 year old striker to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

It is also clearly known that Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is not willing to part ways with his star striker for a fee less than €120 million. This fee could actually drop if a player is used as makeweight in the deal, thus Christian Pulisic, being reported to be involved in the transfer negotiations.

Chelsea are planning on under going an over haul of their first team squad, with the likes of Christian Pulisic among the players at the forefront of this revamp, which is likely to take place in the summer.

It’s probably for the best if Christian Pulisic moves on for greener pastures. Because if he stays, he’s likely to see his playing time significantly reduced with the likes Mykhaylo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, Joao Felix, who is likely to complete a permanent deal and the arrival of Christopher Nkunku in the summer, all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Osimhen has scored 23 goals thus far this season, with 19 coming domestically in the Italian Serie A, and four in the UEFA Champions league.
