3 Top Players That Have Been Linked With A Move To Chelsea This January

Chelsea appears to be picking up where they left off from last summer. They have completed the signings of three young players this January, including David Datro Fofana from Molde, Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama, and Benoit Badiashile from Monaco.
The new Chelsea owners appear to be making plans for the future because they are investing a lot of money to sign young players. All three of Chelsea’s January acquisitions are under the age of 22, and more are expected to sign with the team before the window closes.
In this article, we would be looking at the three World-class players who could become new Chelsea players before the end of the current transfer window.
1. Enzo Fernandez
Enzo Fernandez is reportedly eager to join Chelsea and has already reached a personal agreement with them, but current sources indicate that Chelsea is unwilling to fulfill the 21-year old £105 million release clause and has instead made an offer of £85 million that Benfica rejected.
Currently, negotiation for the transfer of Enzo Fernandez has broken down between Benfica and Chelsea, but the player want to leave the Portuguese club in this January transfer window, and Chelsea seem to be his only preferred option. This could make both club renegotiate new terms on the transfer to allow the deal to go through before the end of this window.
2. Mukhailo Mudryk
In the current transfer window, Chelsea is prepared to compete with Arsenal for the services of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mukhailo Mudryk. According to reports, Arsenal made a formal offer for the winger, but Shakhtar Donetsk rejected it.
On Thursday, Shakhtar Donetsk director was spotted in person at Stamford Bridge watching Chelsea play Manchester City. It is thought that his main reason for traveling to London was to discuss Chelsea’s interest in signing Mukhailo Mudryk.
Two Chelsea wingers Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic were subbed off against Manchester City with injuries, which might make Chelsea move fast in securing the signature of Mukhailo Mudryk this January.
3. Joao Felix
Reports claims that Chelsea are interested in signing Joao Felix on a loan deal from Atletico Madrid this January, as he agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly offered him to Premier League clubs.
Chelsea are looking to strengthen their attacking options in this transfer window, and a loan for Atletico Madrid Joao Felix could be a good option, but the stumbling block could be the loan fee Atletico Madrid wants from any club interested in signing him, which is believed to be around £15 million.
