March is Women's History Month, and there's no better way to celebrate than with a toast to the women in the wine business, in this class led by Corkbuzz CEO Laura Fiorvanti.

Our Women in Wine class will focus on the defining women in wine, who have helped shape and craft the industry into what it is today, from vineyards to wineries, marketing, and sales. Learn about these risk-takers and movers and shakers we admire. You'll taste 6 examples from the leading women of the wine world.

Old World vs. New World Pinot Noir | Wine Tasting at Corkbuzz

Wine.jpg

Price: $80

Purchase Tickets

Pinot Noir has likely been grown in Burgundy for more than 2,000 years, but producers in the New World are making iterations of the classically French varietal that are rivaling some of the most coveted wines that Burgundy has to offer. The terms “Old World” and “New World” are often discussed when tasting wine, especially when deciphering the location of the wine’s origin. The differences are derived from different wine making practices, location, climate, and the effect of the land (terroir) on the grapes and wine itself. So does this really alter the taste and style of a single varietal that much? Yes - in this class you will learn the key differences between Old and New World Pinot Noir. Join us as we put our favorite expressions of Pinot Noir head to head, to discover which comes out on top.
